Following a site detail survey (mentioned above), the project is designed and the proposed
structures are set out on the ground by survey pegs and other marks or offset marks according to
the council approved plans. These marks enable the builder to construct the structure to its
designed position and height.
During the early stages of construction, a check survey on the location and height of the structure
will be undertaken and a report prepared.
As the project nears completion, a “work-as-executed” survey is prepared for final assessment
by the overseeing authority.
